The full transliteration of the Manbun rōtō, in 180 fascicles, is based on the Mukden copy photographed by Professor Naitō, the translation of which formed the authoritative Tōyō Bunko edition (1955–1963) of the Old Manchu Chronicles. The transliteration was prepared by Prof. Okada and his research assistants in the 1990s and shared with Mark Elliott on a CD, with no copyright restrictions. We now make this .txt document available to all researchers in Manchu Studies.
Each line of the transliteration begins with a number. For instance,

Please also note that, as it was not possible at the time to input diacritics, the transliteration uses U” to transcribe Ū and S” to transcribe Š. We have preserved this idiosyncrasy in the document uploaded, but it can be fixed by a simple substitution in your preferred word processor.
