The Manchu Studies Group regularly offers summer online Manchu courses at various levels. Previously-offered summer courses are listed below. The call for application for each year’s summer courses are typically posted in March or April under the “News” section of our website, as well as over social media.

In the summer of 2026, Sarah Bramao-Ramos and He Bian offered online Manchu courses at the introductory and intermediate levels.
Summer 2025
In the summer of 2025, Sarah Bramao-Ramos (University of Hong Kong) and Jaymin Kim (Rice University) offered online Manchu courses at the introductory level.

In the summer of 2024, He Bian (Princeton), Sarah Bramao-Ramos (University of Hong Kong), and David Porter (McGill University) offered online Manchu courses at the introductory, restorative, and advanced levels.
